...the Ferrywheel called Life!Live until U die September 30 Fall again - in the Larsson family's lifeIt's fall again! So far it's been some beautiful days here. Sunshine and really nice temperatures around 15-18 degrees ( have in mind that Im talking about Sweden and fall). Now its getting colder and this morning I had to use the defrost in my car...
Joe is home for leave now. and beside a short trip to Brussels he will stay with us, playing with the kids and do just regular things that a good father and husband normaly does :-) Can't tell you how good it feels to have him around for a while... I don't think the Afghans will miss him!
I try to study and so far it has turned out really good. Passed two exams and waiting for response on the third one. It's a lot to read and I have huge problems with that, as I fall asleep as soon as I read more than a few pages! Yes thats true!!! I also signed up for a years membership at the Gym... hehe! So I will have som work done there as well hopefully.
The girls are doing fine in school. Josefine loves to read whatever comes in her way... books, magazines and newspapers - you name it! Jennifer has some new subjects in school this year. English and wooden handicraft are examples. They also spend some time doing homeworks and in their dance classes and acrobatic class. Jesper is doing his last year in "kindergarten" and is also doing fine! All three children got rollerblades (inlines) and practises a lot! :-) So far so good...
We also decided to skip Indonesia this christmas. We had to wait too long to book and when we finally decided to go, there were some unexpected circumstances that made us change our mind and choose a cheaper alternative. Joe comes home and we will spend Christmas in Sweden and then have a short holliday during New years eve, in Dubai. I get most of my wishes fulfilled anyway.. like sunbathing, swimming, relaxing, shopping and of course - spend some time with my family outside our home! The only thing I probably won't get - is another tattoo or two :-D Damnit!
So this fall will continue and turn into winter - before I write here next time.. I'm not as good as I wish... when it comes to uptade my blog :-P
HUGS!!!
//Johanna July 25 The summer so far... [part II]We are back from our Denmark-trip. The main reason to go to Denmark, was to visit LEGOland. We bought a travel-pack including ferrytickets, bridge-fees, hotel and entrance-fee for two days. Two days in LEGOland wasn't enough at all. There were so much to see and do. I was so impressed of all those buildings and whole scenes they have made, mostly with legobricks. The kids prefered the activites more.
We hade no hurry back home and made some stops in Helsingör, Helsingborg och Gränna. Actually, when we stoped at Gränna it was more or less dark outside so I couldnt take the photos I planned to...
Time always flies too fast and Joe is going back to Kabul tomorrow. It feels like we have had no time togheter, besides from the Denmark-trip. I don't even know when he comes home next time. Maybe september or october... who knows.
The kids and I have a few weeks left, before school starts again and we have nothing special planned. It feels relaxing but if I know myself, I will figure something out, as I will beginning to feel restless soon again. July 15 The summer so far... [part 1]Let's make a summary of the summer so far...
First of all, Joe arrived in Sweden 3/7. It feels so great to spend some time together as an ordinary family. We celebrated my birthday 5/7 and about that, it's no more to say... read the bloggentry before this one for more details...
8/7: I took the girls and the car and drove to Töreboda to see my friend Jenny and her family. We rent a cabin close to Jenny and spent the first night there, just me and the girls. We also spent a whole day at "Skara Sommarland" a big entertainment park including a water-land, amusement-park and some stores, lottery-games and things like that.
12-14/7: Our friend Rickard and his friend Ahmed visited us for some days. The main reason was that Rickad (and Ahmed too actually - but he sold his start-pass for "alcohol-money" ) took part in Vansbro simmet. A 3 kilometers distance in the two rivers Vanån and Dalälven. We finished our days at Västerås, where we and some other people sky-dived from 4000 meters. It was a great experience apart from the bad weather when we jumped. Joe and I and some of the other people jumped right into a hailstorm when we performed our free-fall. It felt like a bucket of needles were throwed at my face in 200 kilometers/ hrs. The guy who jumped with Joe told him that if they had knew what kind of weather it was, they wouldn't have jumped. July 06 Older but not wiser...Well, celebrated my birthday yesterday. I had my family around and thats what really matters. The kids gave me some sweet cards with balloons and Jennifer aslo gave me two tealight candle holders. Joe gave me a pulse watch Suunto t3 with a PC pod. So he can watch my heartrate from kabul :-D. Mum and dad gave me a chocolate box and small bowls and a purse. Money from Kerstin and 12 plates from my mother-in-law and her Håkan. And in the evening I gave myself a cold... :S So I went to bed pretty early and woke up this morning and felt like crap.. or is it just the fact that I'm older??
Thank you everyone for all presents I've got!
Hugs, J
